LONNNNNNNNNNNG TIME

I know I know....where the hell have we been, well my dumb ass forgot my user name and password, I tried everything to remember it but couldn't for the life of me....BUT as you can see I have it now...LOL that is what you get when you have so many alias online. I have 3 I use at different places.

ANYWAYS~ Belle graduated from basic and went right into AIT. She told me she couldn't bare going home to N. and then having to leave her again. She get to go home for Christmas vacation. She leaves on the 19th and will see her baby either that night or the next day. She graduates AIT the 3rd week of Jan, and has decided to go right into airborne school instead of taking some time off. John told her if you don't go right in it is harder to get in. So that is what she is deciding. Like I have predicted all along, I still think she will be active duty before this is over.

JOHN, is home...it was touch and go for awhile as you all know, but even at the last stop they wanted to keep him in observation for 90 days due to suppressed anger. He let them know if he doesn't get to be home for the holidays his anger wouldn't be suppressed any more. He is home now, doing great. Has some applications in with the Highway patrol and another law enforcement.

So things in our family are starting to get better. Just need to get Belle home to her daughter and we will all be fine!

About John

he updated yesterday.

Just a few more days

And Belle will graduate from Boot Camp. She is doing amazingly well. She is so excited about all her compliments! I am really pulling for her little girl....I want Nevada to be able to be there for her mommy. I just hope her father allows her to be. Michele is NOT taking a break she is going right into AIT school, and the she plans on training to be a Ranger. I knew she would love it so much. Now we will just have to see if she decides to go active.

I will post pictures and a update when I hear more. The graduation is the 11th and AIT starts on the 14th. Mom is leaving on the 8th so Belle will have her on family day. I just wish she wasn't so far away, I want to go so BAD, but finance wasn't on my side. I just hope it is video taped and I can get a copy of it.

Sorry it has taken me so long to update.

I am so excited, even more so since his blog was bombarded by cowards that live behind their words and not by their actions.

Now we just need to get Belle home from boot camp to see her little girl. Nov. 11th is her graduations!!!

The Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint."

"I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough. "

"But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep. "

"And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears. "

"I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears. "

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."

There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgement of his God.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

John's Blog

Just a note to let you all know that John is ok, he is going through a difficult time right with a lotlo of conflicting emotions, for those of you that have read his latest blog you can tell that he is feeling some of the affects and stress of knowing that not everyone there is glad we are there and that not all wanat us to stay. He has turned the comt ments off for right now as he says he needs to work through this on his own. Please know how much you all mean to him and how much your reading and supporting him has been very helpful to him, he found some bad comments on his blog a few days ago and I think that is a lot of what he is trying to work through. Kristy can understand some of this as I have spoken with her about the comment. Also know that it is not from any of you that has been his support from day one. I am confident that he will open it up again for comments, Thank you for your support and understanding.

Letter From Michele & John is off to Bagdad

Hi Kristy and everyone just wanted to let you know I recieved letter number 2 from Michele and she was really excited as she had done well on her victory tower and was thinking of going to airborne school, what she is thinking I'm not sure but her dad and brother thought that was cool. As Kristy said she is still trying to ajust to the climate change and the 3-4 hours of sleep per night. She said she did well on her first PT test all except push-ups and she felt that she was going to become an expert at them as they are making them do push ups every ten min. She said she made her first mistake, the DI asked for volunteers and she of course raised her hand, and so she is now Latrine boss and states getting 17-20 yr old girls to clean up after themsleves is worse than trying to get her daughter Nevada who is only 4 to clean. Her brother and Dad had previuosly warned her never volunteer in the first phase. Laughs she will learn. Also her brother has been home from Iraq for the past two weeks and flew out this morning at 6 am. He will be going to Bagdad, so all keep a prayer in your heart for John. It was nice having him home but the time was to short and before we knew it, it was time for him to return. He said he will send all a hello when get gets settled. Or maybe even during the long flight to kawait.

Long Time

Well I was IM'd today saying I was going to be in trouble not keeping up the blog so here I am.

I have received two letters from Belle, she was so sick the 1st week of boot camp and is still trying to adjusts to the 4 hours of sleep the Army only requires. She hasn't heard from Nevada Sage in over 3 wks which BREAKS my HEART. How can someone be that insensitive???? Geeze can't he just pick up a card for N. and let her draw all over it and address it and put it in the mail for heavens sakes.

I think I am going to try to contact Lisa and see if I sent her a camera if she would take pictures of N. Birthday week and Birthday. I will pay the shipping and have it all together so all she has to do is put it in the mail. But I want Belle to have that. This will be the 1st birthday and Halloween she has had away from her daughter in 4 years.

I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks for stopping by. I will try to be better about updating.

Side note. I haven't heard from John since his cabin trip, I know he is out living life for one more week....or does he go back this week.....maybe I should call.
